We are hiring! The Department of Psychological Sciences is seeking applicants for a full-time Lecturer. This is a one-year appointment with the potential to be renewed. The teaching load is 5 courses per semester (primarily face-to-face). Courses could range from Introductory Psychology, Stats, and History and Systems. There are no research expectations and very little service.
We prefer a demonstrated experience in successfully teaching, mentoring, and advising a diverse urban student population including (but not limited to) students of color, LBGTQIA students, students from low-income backgrounds, first-generation students, students with disabilities, undocumented students, non-traditional students, student veterans, and English-language learners. The successful candidate must be committed to equity and inclusion, and to the success of students with diverse identities.
