JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Psychology at Penn State (http://psych.la.psu.edu/) invites applications for the positions of Assistant Teaching Professor a non-tenure track faculty appointment to begin August 13, 2021.
The positions require teaching undergraduate research methods courses, possibly also introductory statistics, and courses in clinical, cognitive, developmental, industrial-organizational, or social psychology. Candidates should be available for both on-line and classroom teaching assignments.
Previous teaching experience and fit to the department’s teaching needs are critical. These are full-time positions with a teaching load of three courses per semester during the academic year; summer teaching is negotiable. Ph.D. preferred and at least ABD status required at time of appointment. In addition, successful candidates must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.

- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History
- Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background Check
