    The School of Psychology at The University of Southern Mississippi is seeking to fill the following positions: three tenure track Assistant Professor positions (Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology & School Psychology), and one teaching track position (applied disciplines preferred) beginning August 2021. The School of Psychology has approximately 600 undergraduate majors and 125 graduate students across three APA-accredited doctoral programs (Counseling, Clinical, & School), an MPCAC Counseling Psychology Master’s program, and a Brain and Behavior (general/ experimental) doctoral program.  Our graduate programs emphasize research mentorship, diversity and clinical training.  The area of specialization is open for all positions and all positions support both the undergraduate program and the graduate programs. Tenure-track applicants are expected to demonstrate potential for developing a fundable program of research as well as skills in supervision and teaching. Teaching Track applicants have minimal research expectations but should demonstrate exceptional teaching potential and an interest in committing to the success of the undergraduate psychology major, with preference for applicants able to teach courses that relate to applied fields.
